LCOL ARNOLD HENRY GRANT KEMBALL - Took the Unit to the UK in late 1915  and died attacking the Germans on 1 Mar 1917 in sight of the present day Vimy Monument

In Memory of Koots the Bear - the 54th Bn mascot who died tragically when he fell out of his bed at his home in Nelson after the unit had departed for Europe.
